NHM Uttar Pradesh has been at the forefront of immunization campaigns, striving to achieve full immunization coverage for all children and pregnant women. Through initiatives like Mission Indradhanush and Intensified Mission Indradhanush, the mission has reached remote and underserved populations, protecting them against vaccine-preventable diseases.

Recognizing the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), NHM Uttar Pradesh has initiated programs for their prevention and management. Screening camps, health education campaigns, and lifestyle modification interventions have been conducted to address NCDs like diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases.

NHM Uttar Pradesh has prioritized infrastructure development, upgrading existing healthcare facilities and establishing new ones to cater to the increasing healthcare needs of the population. Furthermore, the mission has invested in the training and capacity building of healthcare professionals, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver quality healthcare services.
